LESSON INFORMATION & POLICIES
LESSON DETAILS: LESSON REQUEST & PLAYER PLACEMENT – CLICK HERE
I would recommend, at the bare minimum, one, 1 hour session per week. The quality of ice time that a skater receives is also very important. If you are looking for hockey development for your player, in my professional opinion, the player should be taught by hockey development instructors. Player development is what I, as well as my staff, do for a living. We grow our own, from the bottom level up. If you are serious about developing him to become a competitive level player it needs to start now. This is what we accomplish in a 1 hour lesson (depending on the level of play):
-Teach a specific hockey powerskating technique (include the proper upper body positioning as if your holding a hockey stick with a puck).
-Teach the same hockey powerskating technique with a puck (keeping your shoulders closed, not open as if you are experiencing another player reaching for your puck under pressure).
-Teach the same hockey skating and skill technique with a game positioning scenario (defensive, offensive, or neutral zone).
-Teach it under pressure and apply it to a real game situation.
You can literally take exactly what we are teaching from the screens of any NHL game. Moves that OV and Crosby are doing in game settings are what we teach. It's pretty cool! I would be more than happy to take the time to sit and meet with you and your son and customize a training program with him to maximize his learning potential.

Ice hockey not only involves a specific set of skills, and the ability to employ said skills. It also requires a dedicated on and off-ice mentality focused on the pursuit of team goals. Hardcore Hockey observes these tendencies through video, film sessions, and through watching games in order to consult with players and parents, so that players can understand the right on-ice approach. The following tendencies embody this pursuit of team goals and are often the x-factor in determining success in terms of the player, and the greater team he or she becomes a part of:
I. Aggressiveness
II. Awareness
III. Patience
IV. Creating Space
V. Communication
