FUTURE STARS “Learn to Hockey Skate & Stickhandle"
(14) sessions in 7 weeks or (7) sessions in 7 weeks! -Learn from the Pros! –Sponsored by the Washington Capitals
Your player just can’t seem to get enough hockey? Sound familiar? If so, this is the program for you!
The Future Stars program is being offered to beginner level players to teach them correct techniques of hockey skating and stickhandling that will take your player to that next level.The Future Star’s sessions will be offered
at SkateQuest starting this March and will go through the end of April. Sessions will be held both Monday and Wednesday night from 4:30-5:30pm. Each player will receive individualized, hands-on instruction from a professional hockey instructor who will work to teach them proper skills and skating techniques as well as correct any poor habits that they may have developed. Players will be evaluated at the beginning of the program and will receive a report card after completion of the 7 week sessions. The player report card will be detailed enough so your player will know exactly what he or she needs to improve on to make it to the next level and will receive professional guidance and referrals to the appropriate Hardcore Hockey Program for the Summer months. (May – August) To receive the most out of a short period of time, I would highly recommend both the Monday and Wednesday night sessions for the player that would like to improve their basic fundamentals of hockey skating and stickhandling in a short amount of time.
Ages: 4-8 (Divided into 2 age/skill specific groupings)
Levels: Beginner & Novice – Perfect for the IP/Mini-mite levels!
Groups: 2 (Beginner/Group I and Novice/Group II)
Player limit: 6-8 students per group - 10 students max
Instruction: Teaching the FUN in fundamentals of the correct hockey skating (30 minutes) and stickhandling techniques (30 minutes).
Date: March 1st – April 28th
Days: Monday & Wednesday nights
Time: 4:30-5:30pm (1hr per session)
Fee: $210 (Monday (7) sessions) or Wednesday (7) sessions. Please contact me if you would like to attend both Monday and Wednesday sessions.
Evaluations: Each student will be evaluated during the first session and receive a report card at the last session.

Schedule: Each session will consist of a detailed schedule that will be followed throughout the 7 week course.
